I started out as a tax consultant at KPMG in the private enterprise division, cutting my teeth on tax advisory and compliance work for small to medium sized businesses and high net worth individuals. I soon became a chartered accountant and later a licensed mortgage broker. My absolute passion is simplifying complex scenarios for clients and designing solutions that remove hassle and stress for them. Particularly in the area of mortgages, it’s great to see the pressure lifted from clients when they know the process is in hand and they don’t have to worry about dealing with banks or managing a minefield of paperwork. For each client, their situation and circumstance is different. That means we are always learning and always delivering truly tailored services. I see it as a privilege that clients trust me to enter their world and provide advice and solutions specific to their needs. In the process, we build great relationships, which make my work so much more worthwhile. I enjoy taking the time to get to know each client so I can truly understand their situation, avoid overwhelming them with information and find solutions that best fit their world. As a family-owned business, we are in many respects in the same boat as our clients. We share their goal of building a strong and successful business – which means we understand their needs and drivers.
